Simrad QS80 Quick Stick Steering Lever
When hand steering, the rudder moves as long as the QS80 steering lever is kept at maximum port/starboard position. When the joystick is moved forward and released, the autopilot goes into automatic mode. When the joystick is moved backwards when automatic steering is active, the autopilot goes to standby. If the joystick is moved backwards when standby, the rudder moves to mid-position. The QS80 includes a spring return to mid-position and can also be used for course change when auto-steering.
The QS80 features an IPx6 rating and so can be installed internally or externally, but care should always be given to mount in a suitable, protected location as water damage may effect product warranty.
All Simrad steering levers are easily networked so that installations are quick and simple.
Compatible with AC12N, AC24N, NAC-2, NAC-3 & AC70 autopilot computers.
